Bavarian Silk and Linen Weaving Mill
The Sirko Galz silk and linen weaving mill is one of the very few workshops to have mastered the rare artisanal technique of jacquard weaving. We create complex patterned damask fabrics in silk, linen and cotton by hand on jacquard looms that are over 120 years old. The weaving patterns are inspired by the timelessly elegant lines of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. The colour design of our textiles is characterized by subtle colour gradients and polychromy. This gives our fabrics a special complexity and depth of color. In our workshop, we mainly produce exclusive and high-quality silk scarves, accessories and table textiles in small series.
Admission to the professional association BdK 2026
On 16.03.2026 we were accepted as a member of the BdK - Bund der Kunsthandwerker Baden-Württemberg e.V. by the admission jury. As a professional association, the BdK organizes professional artisans at state level. For our customers, this means a seal of approval for the very high design and craftsmanship quality of our products. For us, this membership is a great honor.
