The SECESSION Weave Pattern
In this weave pattern, we have adapted (slightly) the well-known and timelessly elegant laurel motif found on the Vienna Secession building. As on the building’s façade, the stylised foliage of a laurel tree forms the main motif. The fabric is made of pure warp and weft satin. The motif is only visible due to the varying refraction of light. The foliage measures approx. 40 x 44 cm within the fabric and is surrounded by a 10 cm wide border.
The mercerised cotton gives the fabric a high-quality, smooth and slightly lustrous surface
The table runners are versatile: they can be placed across the table with overhang, lengthways across the table with overhang, or lengthways on the table without overhang.

Special editions concept
The special editions enrich our selection in terms of colours and design. Each edition is limited to a length of approx. 40 metres. You can choose from a variety of weave patterns and lengths. The items are usually made to measure for you individually after you place your order.
The highest level of craftsmanship
Our special editions are made exclusively by hand on our large French jacquard loom. This loom offers unique possibilities for pattern design – we can create patterns across a width of 1,294 warp threads (approx. 60 cm repeat width). The time required to produce these textiles makes them particularly precious.
