Shawl / stole No. 4 has a silver-grey chain as its base. This is combined with blue. The middle section is plain, with a strip featuring our Fin du Siècle jacquard pattern running along each end. Pleasantly heavy and soft quality.
Crafted with care
Our shawls and stoles are handmade as individual pieces in our workshop in Burglengenfeld. We exclusively use high-quality silk/merino wool yarn from a Swiss silk spinning mill.
Before weaving, several shades of colour are applied to the warp yarn in a complex process. By combining this with a different weft colour, each piece becomes unique.
The FIN DU SIÈCLE design
Fin du Siècle is a border pattern that is woven in as stripes at each end. We designed this pattern in reference to the rich floral ornamentation of Spanish Art Nouveau architecture.
A wonderfully soft scarf for balmy summer evenings and social occasions. Hand-woven with the finest craftsmanship, it is made from 50 per cent mulberry silk and 50 per cent merino wool.
